Privacy coins in Indonesia
In Indonesia, both Zcash and Monero are not available on regulated platforms. The OJK (Financial Services Authority) consolidated crypto supervision in late 2025, and the approved-token whitelist excludes privacy coins. Holding either coin via overseas platforms is legal but operates outside Indonesian regulated channels.

Indonesian residents cannot buy ZEC or XMR through licensed domestic exchanges. The CFX whitelist is updated periodically but privacy coins have not been candidates. The 2026 expansion into regulated derivatives is aimed at large-cap assets, not privacy coins. Using overseas platforms is technically possible but operates outside OJK's regulated perimeter.
